Jeff Martin
Senior Pastor
Jeff has been serving as a Pastor of OBBC since 2001 and his primary ministry is preaching and teaching while equipping and encouraging members to serve God by serving others.
He has been married to his incredible wife, Frieda, for over 19 years, and they have two adult children. Frieda serves in the children's ministry and as the pharmacy manager for our free clinic and pharmacy ministry for the community.
For most of Jeff's ministry time, he served in a bi-vocational model working in the Fire Service, where he recently retired after 32 years. In addition to his role as Senior Pastor, he serves as the Executive Director of Open Bible Medical Clinic and Pharmacy.
Garrett Naufel
Discipleship Pastor
Garrett and Brenna Naufel are committed to bringing the gospel to generations of men, women, and children as they serve the lost and hurting in Colorado Springs.
They love hosting people in their homes and seek to welcome them into a safe, warm, family environment that fosters real relationships and love. Garrett and Brenna both love to include kids and young people in their daily family life for the sake of loving them with the heart of Christ.
As they labor in Open Bible Baptist Church, Garrett, Brenna, and their kids are looking forward to seeing Jesus move in beautiful, life-altering ways!
KT Onukwuli
Worship Leader
KT has been a member of Open Bible Baptist Church since 2013. She married Francis Onukwuli in 2015. In addition to being a gifted musician, she has incredible administrative and leadership skills.
She has served in a wide variety of roles in the church, but her talents really shine in worship ministry.
Serving in a bi-vocational model, KT works as a full-time reservist in the United States Air Force.
Kent Leonard
Deacon
Kent is one of the deacons at OBBC. He is the husband of one wonderful wife and the father of two amazing daughters. He and his family have been members of OBBC since February 2022. Kent enjoys teaching adults, traveling, reading, and eating really good food from all parts of the country and the world. He also likes to share stories and loves to hear other people's stories, too.
Christopher Hayes
Youth Leader
Chris Hayes has been working in youth ministry for years, and his passion for helping young people recognize Jesus as Lord has only grown stronger. He graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a B.A. in English in 2024 and is currently working toward a Master of Divinity at Gateway Seminary.
Chris was blessed to meet his amazing wife, Anja, in March of 2023 while on a mission trip, and three years later, Chris and Anja were married here in Colorado Springs in May of 2026. They share a heart for international missions, having been blessed to serve in Mexico, Kenya, and Thailand, and are excited to run wherever the Lord leads them, whether that is across the street or across the sea.
In addition to serving in OBBC’s Youth Ministry, Chris is a writer, film fanatic, and all-around story teller.

Levi Anderson
Children's Ministry Leader
As devoted disciples of Christ, Levi and Elliana strive to share the Gospel and His plan for salvation with everyone they meet. With a strong foundation of ministry training from Moody Bible Institute and Western Theological Seminary, and Elliana’s expertise as a licensed O.T., they have set the trajectory of their lives to glorify God while expanding His kingdom. Alongside their two young children, the Andersons seek to honor God by faithfully stewarding every blessing they have received.

Vivien Lewis
Treasurer
Vivien has been a member of Open Bible since 1997. During this time, she has served in several roles and now serves as the church’s Treasurer.
As a native of Youngstown, OH, Vivien initially arrived in Colorado Springs in 1979 when her husband, Kevin, was first stationed here. After Kevin’s retirement, they moved back to the area.
Serving in a bi-vocational model, Vivien works full-time as a Data Visualization Team Lead for a local government contractor and loves to spend her off-hours creating (sewing, knitting, planning to sew and knit).
Cassidy Brunson
Office Manager
Cassidy is a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who feels a deep calling to share God's love and plan for salvation. A Colorado Springs native with a degree in Communication Design from Fort Lewis College, Cassidy is pursuing graduate studies in Communication Management from the University of Denver. She married her husband, Raphael, in 2022. Together, they have two dogs and a bearded dragon.
