At Open Bible Baptist Church, we want you to… open your Bible! The Bible Study Teacher is responsible for preparing and presenting interactive Bible Study sessions. The Teacher is to lead a Bible Study that is discussion driven and focuses on teaching people how to mature in their understanding of God’s Word.
The Welcome Team is a vital part of OBBC. Whether it’s finding a place to park, a place to study, a place to sit – or just about anything else – Welcome Team volunteers are there to help. People come to church to worship, to learn, and to connect with others. The Welcome Team does whatever it can to make that happen!
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matt 28:19) Looking for an opportunity to serve at church? One that takes little preparation? One that can be accomplished in just an hour on a Saturday morning? And will provide you with a great sense of knowing that you are making a difference in God’s kingdom? Then how about volunteering to invite people to Church. This may be the easiest volunteer position you ever do and one of the most rewarding.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Tim. 3:16,17. To fulfill the mission of spreading God’s Word, the Library strives to provide materials and programs that encourage the study of God’s Word and the growth of each person’s relationship with God.
We partner with Care and Share to ensure that hungry people have consistent access to nutritious food, free of charge. Volunteering at the Food Pantry has something for everyone. We need people to move mountains of canned goods, talk with families, and to set up for our monthly distribution.
