Making Gains-Bro, Do You even Lift?
Lift Your Grit
Romans 12:12-21
Sunday January 19, 2020
Jeff Martin

Do You even lift Bro? Is an expression used on body building and fitness forums to question the legitimacy of someone's fitness expertise or weight lifting routine. This is the time of Year where we are all about making improvements and contemplating how we can be better. As believers we need to work hard at being a genuine follower of Jesus. But if we are honest many of us are not faithful to what is necessary to succeed in the faith. We have become lazy, fat, weak and spiritually obese Christians. We need to get off the pew and into the Bible. We need to become students again and then we need to go out of the classroom, and begin to apply what we have learned. To make disciples, to show and share the love of Jesus in real and tangible ways, to do some heavy lifting. The reason why there is such a disconnect between the real world and the majority of people in the church today is because if Christians really had to lift heavy weight… they’d collapse. Bro…do you even lift? Lift Your Grit - Grit is the ability to not quit when things get difficult. The Bible calls this quality, ‘patient endurance.’ It is a key part of your faith and has the power to change your life for the better. Come be inspired to avoid breaking down before your breakthrough.

Haciendo Avances: ¿Siguieras Levantas Pesas, Bato?
Levante Su Tesón
Romanos 12:12-21
Domingo 19 de Enero 2020
Jeff Martin

¿Siguieras levantas pesas, bato?
